CONGRATULATION: NAVA JYOTI WIN the Second Prize in “Science Quiz Competition “ on the occasion of 5th National Science Day 2074 organized by Science Teacher’s Association Nepal(STAN).

The moment of Victory ! Miss Rejina Basnet (Grade 10) of Nava Jyoti Secondary School, Koteshwor, Kathmandu secured First Position in the Inter School Nepali Elocution Competition organized by All Nepal Students Union, on the occasion of Com.Puspalal Memorial Day, on July 2017.

The children who are the pillars of the nation must be acquainted with the humanity and socialization. It helps them how to be accustomed in the society. JRC of our school has been associated with Nepal Red Cross Society. Our JRC frequently organizes internal as well as district- wide inter school competition on different topics.
5. Nava Jyoti Eco– Club
The school is always sincere and keeping in view of all round development of the students, we have been running an environmental organization Nava Jyoti Eco – Club since 1997 A.D. in accordance with the concept of World Wildlife Fund ( WWF ) and in initiation of Green Camp Nepal. Its main objective is to create the awareness among the students about the ecological environment and dreadful circumstance of the pollution. Our Eco- Club organizes valley wide inter secondary school quiz contest entitled ‘ Valley Eco- Friendly Quiz ‘.
6. World Environment Day celebrated at Nava Jyoti
On the occasion of World Environment Day – June 5, 2017 A.D. Nava Jyoti Eco-Club, an environment organization which has been active at Nava Jyoti Secondary School, Koteshwor, Kathmandu since 1997 A.D. , has been reconstituted. On the same occasion in the initiation of the Eco-Club an environment awareness rally was organized which moved round Koteshwor, Kathmandu. Students along with teachers shouted the various slogans related to environment. The official slogan of the World Environment Day 2017 is ‘Connecting People to Nature !’. The students especially liked to raise their voice with the slogan ‘Preserve Nature, Save Earth ! ‘ prepared by Mr. Rajendra Bikram Malla Thakuri, Senior Vice Principal and Coordinator of the Eco-Club.
